SOIK Named One of Five Global Finalists in the MIT Solve "Future Health Challenge" — to Pitch at the World Health Assembly in Geneva on May 19

SOIK Corporation has been selected as one of five global finalists in the "Future Health Challenge," an international innovation competition co-hosted by MIT Solve and Abu Dhabi Future Health.

The challenge received approximately 393 applications from 68 countries, from which five companies advanced to the final round.

Through SPAQ, a solution that enables the early detection of maternal health risks, SOIK is proposing an initiative that supports both primary healthcare facilities and rural communities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and other parts of Africa, with the aim of saving the lives of mothers and newborns and strengthening local health systems.


The final round will take place during the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland, on May 19, 2026, where the five finalists will deliver live pitches. SOIK Corporation will be represented on stage by its CEO, Kuniyuki Furuta.


The four other finalists advancing to the final are:

  • Huna (Brazil)

  • ThinkMD (Australia)

  • Vector Control Innovations (United States)

  • Arkangel AI (Colombia)
