Session Overview:Following his inauguration, U.S. President Donald Trump shut down the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Amidst a global trend of shrinking foreign aid, “global health”—addressing challenges in the world's healthcare sector—faces a difficult phase. While government aid remains significant in scale and influence, initiatives from the private sector are growing increasingly vital. We will engage in a forward-looking discussion with an entrepreneur and youth addressing global health challenges from a “business” perspective, exploring the significance of tackling global health and what can be uniquely achieved from a business standpoint.
