SOIK Corporation sarl co-sponsored the National Reproductive Health Program (PNSR) of the Ministry of Health of the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Kinshasa Provincial Health Directorate (Kinshasa DPS) to organize a working session on a project to 35 health zones in Kinshasa.
The project described is related to the introduction of a digital prenatal consultation trial including a portable ultrasound device, and health zone representatives who wish to participate should add the project activities into their plan.
The director of the PNSR argued that the high rates of maternal and infant mortality in the Democratic Republic of the Congo posed problems of quality and access to health care services, including ultrasound, and strongly proposed in this project .
SOIK's presentation provoked lively discussion from participants, with more than 20 questions and comments from health zone representatives.
